Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the MAGshot and C2 for shooting?

The MAGshot uses full-lens magnification so your entire field of view is magnified -- ideal for scoped rifles and precision shooting where edge-to-edge clarity matters. The C2 uses a top bifocal segment that keeps your eye naturally aligned with iron sights, bow sights, and shotgun beads, while the lower lens stays clear for distance vision. Choose MAGshot for scopes; choose C2 for open sights.

Are these glasses safe to use at the shooting range?

Yes. Both the MAGshot and C2 are ANSI Z87.1+ certified for high-impact protection and meet OSHA standards. They are rated for ballistic debris, ejected casings, and range conditions.

What magnification strength do I need for shooting?

Most shooters find +1.50 to +2.50 works well for reading sights and targets at close to mid range. If you currently use reading glasses, start with that strength. The MAGshot is available in +1.25 to +2.50; the C2 covers +1.00 to +4.00 in 10 increments.

Can I use these glasses for hunting in the field?

Absolutely. Both models are built for outdoor use with wraparound frames, UV protection, and impact-rated lenses. The Yellow lens option on the MAGshot is particularly effective in low-light dawn and dusk hunting conditions, improving contrast and target visibility.

Do the lenses come in different tints?

Yes. The MAGshot is available in Clear, Smoke, and Yellow anti-fog lenses. The C2 includes 3 interchangeable lenses so you can swap based on lighting conditions -- clear for indoor ranges, smoke for bright daylight, and yellow for overcast or low-light field use.

Can I remove one magnifier on the MAGshot for single-eye use?

Yes. The MAGshot's left and right magnifiers are individually removable. You can run one magnified lens and one clear lens, or mix different strengths per eye -- useful for shooters with different vision needs in each eye.
